The story is set in the Yuigaoka Private Girls High School ( 私立結ヶ丘女子高等学校, Shiritsu Yuigaoka Joshi Kōtō Gakkō) that lies between the Omotesando, Harajuku, and Aoyama neighborhoods of Tokyo. A second season aired from July to October 2022. An anime television series aired on NHK Educational TV from July to October 2021. The project is the fourth installment in the Love Live! franchise after Love Live! School Idol Project, Love Live! Sunshine!!, and Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. Love Live! Superstar!! ( ラブライブ！スーパースター!!, Rabu Raibu! Sūpāsutā!! ) is a Japanese multimedia project co-developed by Kadokawa Corporation, music label Lantis, and animation studio Bandai Namco Filmworks (formerly known as Sunrise).
